I feel that its important that there needs to be a clear message when engaging a user. Effective visual communication is essential from interception to (hopefully) re-interception. My design is purposelly and carefully constructed with the intent of making a strong impact with the user with strong usability heuristics that make for a pleasurable experience. In this way not only will they stay on a page but they are more willing to navigate throughout the site and become a return client.
Good user interface design facilitates finishing the task at hand without drawing unnecessary attention to itself. My primary focus is on the design of websites as well as software applications for both online and mobile communication devices with the focus on the user's experience and interaction. The goal is to make the user's interaction as simple and efficient as possible by implementing a design process that balances technical functionality and visual elements to create a system that is not only operational but also usable and adaptable to changing user needs. As a leader, I build collaborative relationships with colleagues in an effort to meet company deadlines while allowing for creative input. What keeps my passion alive is the process of seeing the birth and development of a new idea. The most rewarding aspect of my job is to make a strong connection with the user. I'm very proficient with client side scripting languages, Flash ActionScripting, Cascading Style Sheets, as well as audio and video content that creates an exciting interactive experience. My primary focus is the development of user interfaces that incorporate interactive technology. My experience is in designing cutting edge UIs through flexible extensible markup languages.
My design philosophy centers on design heuristics that provide a comprehensive user experience. I model my design background after the Swiss and Japanese design philosophies. My strengths derive from my ability to process team objectives, plan steps towards a reasonable deadline to achieve them and then organize my resources to implement and execute the objective by project deadline. Artistically, I use knowledge of symmetry, format, color and design which provides for the optimal user experience while meeting shareholder objectives (marketing, sales, etc.).
